Obituary
Frances Wainess, nee Mallon, 96, passed away peacefully, February 23, 2017, two days after her 96th birthday, in her home of over 65 years, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by Harold Wainess, her beloved husband for more than 60 years, loving mother of Terri Wainess Kasper of Boston, MA, Dr. P. Steven Wainess of Birmingham, MI and Robert (Lynn) Wainess of Alexandria, VA, cherished grandmother of Adam (Hallie), Jocelyn (Noah) and Jacob (Andrea) Kasper and Flint, Reid (Erin), Rebecca and Elliot Wainess and 8 great grandchildren, Fran was a grand lady who greatly enjoyed her life and spread love everywhere she went. Even in her last days, Fran was singing the lyrics to “You Are My Sunshine” and “You’re the Cream in My Coffee.” Graveside service Sunday, at 2 PM, at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W.
